Outdoor courtyards and ventilation shafts break up the continuous office floors, providing natural light and ventilation for the building’s inhabitants. An exterior bamboo screen system places the building in constant shade, minimizes solar radiation and direct sunlight, and provides the building with a dignified facade. Computer Fluid Dynamic studies were performed to verify that the manufacturing building natural ventilation scheme would function as planned, resulting in significant energy and ventilation equipment cost savings.
